An Evening of Speakers
For the Love of Toronto: Talking About Our City
Are we as disconnected from each other as people think we are?
Back by popular demand, For the Love of Toronto invites you to explore what it means to love this ever changing world class city. This series of speakers will have honest conversations about how we’re drifting apart as a city, and explore unexpected ways that we may be more connected than you think.
This is a night to explore what it means to love Toronto — the good, the bad, the ugly, and the beauty of it all.
Hosted by CBC Radio’s Elamin Abdelmahmoud (CBC’s Commotion), this event will feature a powerful lineup of voices who are shaping the cultural landscape of our city. Through personal stories, bold ideas, and moments of reflection, these speakers will share their unique perspectives on everything from the arts to nature, from food to design.
Expect an evening filled with insight, laughter, and inspiration as we dive deep into the heart of Toronto.

About For the Love of Toronto
This event series is inspired by our popular 36 Questions That Lead to Loving TO exhibition and pop-ups. This project invites Torontonians to reflect on their relationship with Toronto, and each other, through an interactive series of questions.
For the Love of Toronto: Talking About Our City brings subject matter experts to the stage to explore some of the recurring themes that we observed from the 100,000+ people who have engaged with our exhibition and pop-ups. This will be our second iteration of this event and we look forward to hosting you!
